I’m Building This In Public. So You Can Build Faster

If you’ve ever sat in a lecture wondering whether any of this is going to matter when you’re competing for the same jobs as 500 other engineering graduates — I get it. That feeling is real. It’s also information.

I’m a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at UBC Okanagan, looking to specialize in Aerospace. I’m not a career coach or a LinkedIn guru. I’m in the game right now — the same labs, the same assignment loads, the same career questions you’re sitting with.

I started this platform because I couldn’t find anyone talking to engineering students the way we actually talk to each other — directly, technically, without the motivational poster energy. The gap between ‘study hard and get good grades’ and ‘land a co-op at a company you actually care about’ is real. And it’s fillable. I’m documenting how I fill it, in real time, so you can move faster.

This is a YouTube channel, an Instagram and TikTok community, a Discord server, a weekly email, and this website — all built around one idea: university is a leverage machine, and most students never learn how to use it. I post on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn every week. The Engineering Starter Toolkit is free. The weekly content is free. I’m in this for the long game — and I want to build this community with you.

Start With The Free Toolkit!

It’s the first thing I send every new engineering student who wants to build something real. Five resources, one download, zero fluff.
